This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 for services in the National Capital Region for the following category:
I.2 Database Administrator, Level 3
The following SA Holders have been invited to submit a proposal:
All vendors qualified under the EN578-170432 Supply Arrangement, Tier 2, Secret Level.
Description of Work:
Objective
Shared Services Canada (SSC) has a requirement for Intermediate and Senior Database Administrator(s) to work in the Database Service Division.
Background
The Database Service Division has a commitment to partners and clients to meet and maintain day-to-day operations and Service Level Agreements. There is currently a shortage of in-house database administrators with the required skills sets.
The Database Administrator(s) will functionally report either to the Database Services – MS SQL Manager, the Oracle Databases Manager or the Mainframe Databases and DB2 LUW Manager.
Scope
This TBIPS-SA is for the provision of one or more intermediate and/or senior Database Administrator(s) to provide day-to-day operations, installation, maintenance and support services for ongoing operations and projects on various platforms. Support will be required on-site and on an “on-call” basis, including some overtime.
The resource may work on various platforms at the same time.
The following platforms are in scope (but not limited to):
Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2012, 2014 and 2016
Sybase ASE, Sybase Direct Connect and Mainframe Connect
IBM DB2 v 11 on z/OS
CA-IDMS V 18.5 and 19.0 on z/OS
DB2 LUW on AIX, Linux and Windows Server from version 8.0 to 10.5
Oracle 10g, 11g and 12c on Unix and Linux
ADABAS v 8.3.4 on zOS
Bidders must submit one bid for the resource category.
Bidders must submit one (1) resource per category.
There is currently incumbents performing the work and are invited to participate in this solicitation.
