Description of the Requirement:
The purpose of the resulting contract is to supply lead negotiator services to the employer responsible for Statistical Survey Operations - Statistics Canada - during the 2014 round of collective bargaining between the employer and the two bargaining units of the Public Service Alliance of Canada. The Contractor will be required to work with two separate Employer negotiating teams that will be supported by a single administrative unit. Work under the contract will be completed once collective agreements have been successfully negotiated and are signed by each of the bargaining units and Statistical Survey Operations OR arbitral decisions have been awarded to each of the bargaining tables.
The Work to be performed under the resulting Contract will be on an "as and when requested basis" using Task Authorizations.
The Work will be carried out in at various locations within the National Capital Region.

Proposed period of contract:
The period of the resulting contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2017 inclusive, with the possibility of extending the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional six-month periods under the same conditions.
