Full description

This is a notice of proposed procurement.

The Government of Canada requires a support services provider to plan, manage, and perform the divestiture of the Freshwater Fish Marketing Corporation (FFMC) under the direction of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. This divestiture is intended to lead to a negotiated agreement with an approved buyer for the purchase and ownership of the FFMC within approximately two years. The goal is to transform the FFMC’s governance and ownership model in a way that will promote Indigenous economic reconciliation, Indigenous participation, and continued service to northern, remote, and Indigenous communities and with the aim of providing continued marketing services to the communities that it serves.

Duration of Contract: from contract award to May 30, 2026 with the irrevocable option to extend the resulting contract for six months.

This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement (SA) Holders under E60ZT-18TSPS who qualified under Tier 1 for the following categories:

  • 1 x business analyst (senior level)
  • 1 x business consultant (senior level)
  • 1 x business consultant (intermediate level)
  • 2 x business analyst (intermediate level)
  • 1 x project manager (intermediate level)
  • for suppliers who are SA-holders: first, email only the DFO Procurement Officer on the file and request to be invited. If you are not qualified under the stream(s) and category(ies) required in spite of being an SA-holder, you must then contact PSPC's SA Authority for the TSPS SA to update your supplier profile. Proof of being added must be provided to the DFO Procurement Officer on the file before the invitation request will be considered.
