ST-OURS - DRYDOCKING

NOTICE

The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be
limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada in accordance with
Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy
(1996-12-19).

In addition the ship certificate is "Sheltered water" which
limits the boat to St-Jean Île d'Orléans to the East.
Exceptionally a permit could be asked to Transport Canada to
extend the limit to Matane, Quebec. In case the permit is
refused the offers made by shipyards located East of St-Jean Île
d'Orléans will be disqualified. Due to operational constraints,
the Western geographical limit is set at Kingston, Ontario.

DESCRIPTION

To carry out the docking, maintenance and alterations of the
Canadian Coast Guard Ship (CCGS) Île St-Ours in accordance with
the associated Technical Specifications attached as Annex A and
all related drawings.

No bidders' conference or site visite will be held for this
procurement.
