Nature of Requirements:
Window Blinds
The Department of National Defence (DND), Base Construction
Engineering Unit, Canadian Forces Base Borden, Ontario has a
requirement for the Supply and Installation, and servicing of
Window Blinds.
The Contractor must perform repairs to existing blinds and
supply and install new window coverings on an "as and when
requested" basis, strictly adhering to all applicable rules,
codes and standards.
The period of the Standing Offer is for one year with 3 optional
one year extensions.
Offerors must submit a list of names, or other related
information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2006.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
