This Request for Information (“RFI”) is issued by Strathcona County (the “County”) for the purposes of gathering information about the marketplace in order to assist in the determination of future purchasing options or requirements. Respondents are asked to respond to the County and provide the information requested below.
The County is seeking information to better understand the capabilities, implementation considerations, and market availability of Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) (Global Positioning System (GPS)) hardware and telematics solutions. Responses will be used to assess available functionality, technical and integration approaches, implementation requirements, support models, pricing structures, and future product direction. The information gathered through this RFI will assist the County in validating requirements, identifying potential opportunities and constraints, evaluating solution approaches available in the marketplace, and informing the development of a future procurement strategy. Respondents should clearly identify whether capabilities are standard, configurable, require customization, or are available through third-party integrations, and note any assumptions, dependencies, or implementation considerations associated with their response.
