This project’s objective is to develop an optimized deployment plan for Sturgeon County’s gravel road grading operations. The approach is unique in the combination of process mapping, optimization algorithms, and process improvement, and is part of an overall initiative of operation utilization improvements taken up by the County.
Cost: $96,000
Justification: EHAN Engineering Ltd. has already developed, utilized, and verified a grader deployment optimization model for another municipality. This provides a clear road map for project completion and greatly reduces the risk of not achieving the project’s objectives.
