SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF CHROMOTOGRAPHY SYSTEM
INTRODUCTION
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
the Barley Research group of the Grain Research Laboratory at
the Canadian Grain Commission has a requirement for one (1) Dual
Analytical Ion Chromatography (IC) system, capable of running 2
independent chromatography applications. One side requires one
analytical pump, eluent generator (EG), and electrochemical
detector (ED) to run chromatography on 3 or 4 mm inside diameter
(ID) columns. The second side requires one analytical pump to be
used with 4mm ID columns and the customer's detectors. The IC
system requires a chromatography compartment, autosampler,
computer and chromatography software which is avaliable for both
sides of the chromatography system.
The Ion Chromatography system is required for quantitation and
analysis of monosaccharides and oligosaccharides that are
responsible for the functionality and performance of barley and
other grains. This strategic research leads to improving the
quality and processing performance of Canadian barley and other
grains for current and future needs.

procurement: The Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT)
AIT Article 506.12: Where only one supplier is able to meet the
requirements of a procurement, an entity may use procurement
procedures that are different from those described in paragraphs
1 through 10 in the following circumstances: (b) where there is
an absence of competition for technical reasons and the goods or
services can be supplied only by a particular supplier and no
alternative or substitute exists;
DELIVERY
FOB Destination: 1370-303 Main St., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 3G8.
Including all delivery charges to destination. Delivery is
requested on or before December 31, 2012, with a mandatory
delivery date of March 15, 2013.
