This bid solicitation W8482-115514/C cancels and supersedes
previous bid solicitation number W8482-115514/A dated December
6, 2010, with a closing of March 9th 2011 at 14:00 Eastern
Standard Time. A Price & Availability request was released to
industry shortly after under solicitation W8482-11514/B with a
closing date of April 29th 2011 at 14:00 Eastern Daylight
Savings Time. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided
upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the
previous solicitation.
Suppliers who expressed interest in the previous bid
solicitation number W8482-115514/A and previous Price &
Availability solicitation W8482-115514/B will be invited
directly to participate in this solicitation W8482-115514/C.
The Department of National Defence has a requirement to procure
three (3) Weapons Alignment systems, spare parts, training and
documentation as detailed herein.
The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to
acquire the goods, services or both described at Schedule A,
Basis of Payment, of the Contract under the same conditions and
at the prices and/or rates stated in the Contract. The option
may only be exercised by the Contracting Authority and will be
evidenced, for administrative purposes only, through a contract
amendment.
The Contracting Authority may exercise the optional requirements
identified in Schedule A, Basis of Payment, within three (3)
years after contract award by sending a written notice to the
Contractor.
Delivery of the first Weapon Alignment System must be delivered
after March 31st 2014 with a requested delivery date of no later
than April 30th, 2014.
All contract deliverables (except optional items) must be
completed within 300 days after contract award.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT);
