The purpose of this project is to deploy a standardized camera
surveillance system on all the sites
described in the solicitation. The system must be compatible
with the existing analog cameras, as well as with the IP
(Internet Protocol) digital cameras. The system must allow for
the addition of new cameras in the future.
This system will enable camera surveillance of our facilities at
each site. It will also be possible to view all cameras over the
networks at all DND sites, without affecting performance, from
any
workstation on the internal LFQA DHCP network. The solution must
allow for cameras to be
moved over a network and from one site to another.
Even if the network is experiencing problems, it must be
possible to view the live stream from
any local camera on the local network, and to view any locally
saved recordings on the local
recorder. It must also be possible to locally record (on each
site) videos captured by the cameras
in case of network problems or failure.
