The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) wants to expand the field of Agri-Food and add capacity for nano-emulsion food applications. Capacity is also required to maintain cell lysis and protein purification/recovery capabilities. Additionally, new capacity is required for high shear cell rupture and lysis, allowing a wide variety of cell types including: bacterial, mammalian, plant, insect, fungi, algae, and yeast cells.
Within this mandate, the NRC wishes to purchase a lab scale benchtop High Shear Fluid Processor system.
The work consists of supply, delivery, installation of the system at the NRC.
