The Department of National Defence (DND), Shilo, MB has a
requirement to increase the number of column lifts in use, as
well as convert their existing lifts to wireless capability.
Currently there are 8 of the Rotary Mach Series that have the
capacity to be used in a 4, 6 or 8 configuration. There is an
upgrade for this system that will allow the posts to be
connected wirelessly and therefore eliminate the need to connect
by wires.
The department is also looking to procure 8 mobile more mobile
column lifts in order to ensure maximum flexibility and trouble
free interfacing between the existing and new lifts.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
