The RCMP has a requirement for a National Individual Standing
Offer (NISO) for In-Car Digital Video Systems that will be used
to gather evidence for criminal prosecutions and to meet
Canada's security and defence commitments.
The resulting NISO shall be valid for a period of three (3)
years from the date of issue and includes an irrevocable option
to extend the validity period for placing call-ups for two (2)
additional one (1) year periods.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT).
Resulting contracts issued against any NISO resulting from this
RFSO may be subject to CLCAs, depending on where the upgraded
RCMP cars will be used.
