Towable Irrigation System
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC), has a requirement for
the supply and delivery of parts for a Towable Irrigation System
to Brandon Research Centre, Brandon, Manitoba in accordance with
the minimum mandatory technical specifications detailed herein.
The Irrigation System will be movable in segments of
approximately 500 feet long with a maximum of 13 sprinklers on
each segment with approximately 40 feet spacing between
sprinklers. An entire 500 foot segment can be moved to a new
location in one piece using an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV),
tractor or similar powered vehicle. The vendor will supply
installation and operation manuals of an operational system.
In addition to the parts required to fully install the
Irrigation System, spare parts are also required.
This requirement is for the Parts only. AAFC will assemble the
Irrigation Systems according to manufacturer's instructions.
Bidders must submit a list of names , or other related
information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2003 (2014-09-25).
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-Panama Free
Trade Agreement, the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement, the
Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement and the Agreement on Internal
Trade (AIT).
All deliverables must be received on or before March 31, 2015,
with the exception of the Optional Goods.
