Nature of Requirements:
THE CANADIAN COAST GUARD CENTRAL & ARTIC REGION - GREAT LAKES SECTOR - PROVINCE OF ONTARIO, CCGS LIMNOS - REQUIRES NEW A60 FLOORING SYSTEM AND FLOOR COVERINGS FOR THE CREW’S MESS. THIS INCLUDES ALL LABOUR AND MATERIALS TO SUPPLY AND INSTALL THE NEW A60 FLOORING SYSTEM, AND FLOOR COVERINGS ON THE LIMNOS MOORED ON THE CANADIAN COAST GUARD DOCK, 867 LAKESHORE ROAD, BURLINGTON, ON N7S 1A1.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
There are no security requirement associated with this requirement
The finished work will be subject to inspection by the TCMS inspectors.
Delivery Date: All the deliverables must be received on or before March 31st 2018. Work will begin on the week of February 19 and will finish on or before 31 March 2018.
Mandatory Technical Criteria
M.1 The Bidder must demonstrate experience in the installation of A60 flooring and vinyl floor coverings System, on a Canadian ship, in the last three years.
M.2 The Bidder must demonstrate that the bidder’s personnel, who will be installing the A60 flooring, has demonstrated experience in the installation of A60 flooring, on a Canadian ship, in the last three years.
M.3 The Bidder must demonstrate that the bidder’s personnel, who will be installing the 180 sq ft of Tarkett or equivalent vinyl floor coverings System including: vinyl floor coverings 2mm thick, and Vinyl perimeter cove base 4? high, has demonstrated experience in the installation of vinyl floor coverings on a A60 flooring base, on a Canadian ship, in the last three years.
Financial evaluation
The financial evaluation criteria is described at paragraph 3 of Annex D - Evaluation Plan of the RFP. The evaluation plan incorporates: hourly rates, travel time & distance and cost of Materials for A60 flooring system and vinyl floor coverings system.
