DOOR CONTROL-SPRINGHILL INSTITUTION

The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) has a requirement for
the replacement, upgrade or augmentation of the existing Door,
Lighting and Power Control Systems in Living Units 50, 51, 52,
57, 58 and the Regional Reception Center building 5 at
Springhill Institution.

Springhill Institution is a medium security institution; work
will have to be accomplished with minimum disruption to the
daily operation and security of the institution.

The work includes the supply, install, test and provide of
maintanence training on the replacement, upgrade or augmentation
of the existing Door, Lighting and Power Control Systems as
described in the Statement of Technical Requirements (Electronic
Attachment #1).

Delivery is requested to be completed within 30 weeks after
contract award.

A mandatory site visit will be held at the Springhill
Institution at 10:00 a.m. on Wednsday, July 15, 2015. Bidders
must attend the site visit to be given consideration.

The bidder must have at least one attendee at the site visit and
the onus is on the bidders to arrive at the site in a timely
manner. Bidders arriving late may not be permitted to attend
the site visit.

It is also a mandatory condition of this requirement that all
attendees have a site clearance prior to the site visit. To
apply for the site clearance, the bidders shall complete a CPIC
Clearance Request form (preferably in typed format) and submit
the duly completed and signed form by each participant, by fax
to (819) 953-4944 or by e-mail to
j••••••••@••••••••.••.ca. It is a mandatory
condition that the CPIC Clearance Request be received by this
office no later than 2:00 p.m. on June 30, 2015. Site Clearance
Request Forms received after 2:00 p.m. on June 30, 2015 will
not be accepted. A site clearance obtained for work performed
under similar requirements is not acceptable.
