component (Victoria, B.C) and the Macro Invertebrate
Communities/Biomonitoring component (Fredericton, N.B.) as part
of WSTD's input to the joint-integrated Oil Sands Monitoring
Programme. The microscopes will be used to study biological
responses in pelagic and benthic environments and will therefore
be used to observe organisms which range in size from small
plankton to larger benthic invertebrates.
