NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) for TASK BASED INFORMATICS PROFESSIONAL SERVICES (TBIPS)

This requirement is for: Aircraft Services Directorate / Canadian Coast Guard
This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders under EN578-170432 who qualified under Tier 1, under the National Capital Region, level of expertise for the following category(ies):

I.7 Platform Analyst- Level 3
P.5 Project Executive- Level 3
I.2 Database Administrator- Level 3
A.7- Programmer/Analyst- Level 3
A.3 ERP Programmer Analyst- Level 3

The requirement is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract.

Description of the Requirement:

The Canadian Coast Guard’s Aircraft Service Directorate (ASD) is an Air Operator and Aircraft Maintenance Organization. ASD operates both fixed and rotary wing aircraft for the Government of Canada and its clients and provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services required to ensure safe and uninterrupted aviation operations in support of ASD’s mandate.

Aircraft Services Directorate, Canadian Coast Guard is responsible for providing implementation and technical support for the Aircraft Services Modernization Project which consist of the Aircraft Inventory Maintenance and Management System (AIMMS) product and the peripheral Microsoft (MS) Dynamics suite of utilities supporting aircraft maintenance and flight operations.

The objective of this requirement is to perform complex data migration (Extract – Transform – Load) tasks to migrate legacy data into the new SaaS solution, develop integration points between the SaaS solution and other systems, manage the project including preparing various governance work documents, and ensure that the sum of all parts is architecturally sound. The project will also plan and implement interfaces between Oracle R12 EBS and the new SaaS solution and will analyze, design, develop, modify, test, troubleshoot, maintain, new and existing MS Power Apps solutions for integration with the SaaS solution. Once the SaaS solution is fully delivered, the AIMMS project team is responsible to plan the SaaS solution implementation/integration to corporate systems.
