Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) - Southern Ontario Region
(SOR), has a requirement to upgrade and expand their current
CCTV system located at the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, ON
and in the Windsor/Detroit Tunnel in Windsor, ON. The
Contractor must provide and install the system in accordance
with Annex A Statement of Work. The Contractor is responsible
for providing a complete and fully operational system.
Contractor must provide a 3 year maintenance, support and alarm
monitoring service agreement beginning from date of acceptance
at each installation site.
It is anticipated that one contract will be awarded as a result
of this solicitation.
It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the two (2) work sites. Arrangements have been
made for site visits to be held on October 30, 2014 at 11:00am,
Rainbow Bridge, 5660 Falls Avenue, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 3P6
AND on November 4, 2014 at 11:00am, Windsor Tunnel, 35 Park
Street East, Windsor, ON N9A 3A8. Bidders MUST attend BOTH
site visits.
Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than October 29, 2014 at 2:00pm to confirm attendance and
provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend
Bidders must be ready to begin work immediately following
contract award.
Installation for the Windsor Detroit Tunnel site must be
completed by: 8 weeks after contract award
Installation for the Rainbow Bridge site must be completed by:
March 31, 2015
There is a security requirement associated with this
requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 -

Resulting Contract Clauses.
The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian Goods
and/or services. Failure to provide this certification
completed with the bid will result in the goods and services
offered being treated as non-Canadian goods and non-Canadian
services.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
