Nature of Requirements:
Requirement: The National Research Council Canada
(NRC), Saguenay Site of Aluminium Technology Centre
(ATC) wishes to purchase an ultrasonic based non-
destructive technology (NDT) bond tester for the
following purposes:
1. Test the integrity and bond quality of adhesively
bonded systems composed of metals and composites by
detecting disbonds, skin- to core- to far-side flaws and
delaminations; Test the bond quality in honeycomb
composite structures
2. Trace and image flaws and defects and quantify
the defect profiles in the systems mentioned in 1.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Trade
Agreements: NAFTA and AIT only.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
