Nature of Requirements:
Environment Canada has a requirement for the supply and delivery of a Digital PCR Thermocycler to CCIW, 867 Lakeshore Road, Burlington ON L7S 1A1 by March 31st, 2017.
The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory technical evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting documentation. Failure to provide supporting documentation by bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.
Some of the criteria include:
1. The system must produce high sample throughput and complete analysis of at least 96 samples within a work day.
2. The system must produce a minimum of 20,000 partitions per sample.
3. The system must be of a ?benchtop? scale, it must perform digital polymerase chain reaction analyses forthe detection of microorganism targets in water samples.
All inquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than seven (7) calendar days before the bid closing date. Inquires received after that time may not be answered.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
