Nature of Requirements:
THIS CANCELS AND SUPERCEDES THE PREVIOUS REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
M0077-12F100/A, DATED JUNE 13, 2013, WHICH WAS DUE AT 2PM ON
JULY 4, 2013.
Requirement:
Twill Cloth, Polyester/Cotton to be manufactured in accordance
with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) specification
GS-1045-285 dated 2013-04-02, and viewing samples.
Firm Quantity:
A total quantity of 50,000 metres are to be delivered to the
RCMP Warehouse in Montreal, Quebec.
Option Quantities:
This requirement also includes up to 2 (two) options. Each
option is to purchase and additional estimated minimum quantity
of 7,500 metres up to a maximum of 15,000 metres.
Option 1: is exercisable within 12 months from contract award.
Option 2: is exercisable within 24 months from contract award.
RCMP Specification:
Technical data will be issued to bidders who will order the bid
document from Buy and Sell. Therefore, it is imperative that
this request for bid documentation be done as soon as possible
to ensure timely receipt of the associated technical data.
Notwithstanding, the Crown shall not be held responsibel for
untimely release of technical data.
Delivery:
It is requested that the delivery be completed by October 31,
2013.
Canadian Content Policy:
This requirement is subject to the Canadian Content Policy and
is conditionally limited to Canadian goods.
Enquiries:
To ensure a response before bid closing, all enquiiries about
this requirement must be submitted in writing and received by
the Contracting Authority, at least 10 (ten) calendar days prior
to bid closing date.
