OFFER NO. 21C31-143453/A DATED JANUARY 10, 2014 WHICH WAS
DUE AT 2:00 P.M. ON FEBRUARY 18, 2014
Requirement:
This requirement is for the establishment of a Regional
Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for CORCAN for the supply of
the following fabrics (end use: underpants).
Item 1: - White tubular waffle knit (43 cm tube), 50% polyester
/ 50% cotton, mass 254 g/m2 (7.5 oz/yd2). Fabric design must be
square 3x3 mm, 5x5 mm or 7x7 mm.
- estimated usage/year: 40,000 metres
Item 1a - White tubular waffle knit (52 cm tube), 50% polyester
/ 50% cotton, mass 254 g/m2 (7.5 oz/yd2). Fabric design must be
square 3x3 mm, 5x5 mm or 7x7 mm.
- estimated usage/year: 140,000 metres
Item 2 - White 1/1 rib knit, 2-3/8" (6.1 cm) strip, cross-cut
bias, 48% cotton / 48 polyester / 4% spandex, mass 254 g/m2
(7.5 oz/yd2).
- estimated usage: 50,000 metres/year
Item 3 - White tubular 1/1 rib knit (54 cm tube), 48% cotton /
48% polyester / 4% spandex, mass 254 g/m2 (7.5 oz/yd2).
- estimated usage: 10,000 metres/year
Item 4 - White jersey knit, 1" (2.54 cm) strip, cross-cut bias,
50% polyester / 50% cotton, mass 175 g/m2.
- estimated usage: 20,000 metres/year
Technical Requirements:
The items must meet the technical requirements specified at
Annex "A" of the Request For Standing Offer (RFSO) and must also
meet the Canadian General Standard Board (CGSB) Standard test
results, within the minimum and maximum acceptable range, in
accordance with the CGSB test methods specified (refer to Annex
B of the RFSO).
Period of Standing Offer
The Standing Offer will be valid from the date of issuance of
the Standing Offer for a period of one (1) year with the
possibility to extend for two (2) additional one-year period.
Delivery:
Delivery to be complete within 6 weeks from receipt of order.
Delivery to be made to CORCAN, Drummondville, Quebec;
Cowansville, Quebec and Laval, Quebec.
Pre-award samples and test results:
The bidders must submit a pre-award sample and laboratory test
results with their bid.
Canadian Content Policy:
This requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods. If
two (2) + bids offer Canadian goods, other bids will not be
considered.
Enquiries
To ensure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to
the bid closing date.
