Definition of Requirement

The Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement for the supply of two
(2) new skid mounted self-cleaning fuel purifier packages for
Marine Diesel Oil c/w intelligent control panels and starter,
pre-wired and efficient sludge and water separation.

Mandatory Requirements to be met:

1. Purifiers must be rated for a certified flow rate of 7,500
litres per hour of Marine Diesel Oil with a Kinematic Viscosity
of 2.5 to 4.3 centistokes @ 40 deg c.

2. Separator and separate feed pumps must operate on 440 VAC, 3
phase, 60 Hz.

3. Control power must be 115 VAC, 60 Hz.

4. Control panel and cabinet must be provided with alarm output
to a remote monitoring system. It si to be PLC based EPC60 for
multi-language, interactive operation of the complete system
including starter for separator and feed pump.

5. Separator footprint complete with control panel and mounting
base, must not exceed 1.2 meters wide by 1.2 meters long by 1.9
meters high. Height limitation includes the maintenance height
required for disassembly.

6. Assemblies and components must be Lloyds Register
Classification Society approved for marine Service.

7. One (1) set of manufacturer's special tools must be provided,
c/w illustrated tool list and three (3) copies of illustrated
operation and maintenance manuals. One (1) additional copy must
be in the French language.

8. One (1) set of manufacturer's minor maintenance spares and
major overhaul spares must be provided with each purifier c/w
priced itemized list of overhaul spare kit parts list.

9. Three (3) copies of manufacturer's model specific illustrated
parts manual plus and additional copy in the French language.
