DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The work of this contract is described by:
General Requirements (7 pages)
Package “A”: Drawings A1- A9 and SA1
Package “B”: Drawings B1- B9 and SB1
This contract consists of:
Prefabrication: supply material, equipment and labour for the prefabrication of portable,
wood construction outhouses: THREE universally accessible units (Package “A”) and
ONE standard-size unit (Package “B”).
Delivery: Deliver the prefabricated outhouses to two separate locations: THREE
Package “A” outhouses to the National Capital Commission Woodroffe Depot at 1740
Woodroffe Avenue (corner of Hunt Club), Ottawa, Ontario. Deliver the ONE Package
“B” outhouse including vent pipe and associated hardware to the NCC Crawley depot at
119 Scott Street, Chelsea, Québec.
Barrier Free Design: Work of this contract must conform to CSA B651-12 Accessible
Design for the Built Environment. This includes, but is not limited to, width of door
opening, wheelchair accessible turning radius, and installation height and location of
hardware and accessories (universally accessible units).
