The Town of Vegreville (the “Town”) invites qualified planning consulting firms to submit proposals for the review and update of the Intermunicipal Development Plan (IDP) between the Town of Vegreville and the County of Minburn (the “County”).
The current IDP was adopted in 2012 and requires revision to reflect changes in provincial legislation, municipal planning policies, community growth trends, and the evolving priorities of both municipalities. The successful consultant will work collaboratively with representatives from the Town of Vegreville and the County of Minburn to prepare an updated IDP that promotes coordinated growth, supports compatible land use planning, strengthens intermunicipal cooperation, and provides a clear framework for managing development and shared interests within the plan area.
Through this project, both municipalities seek to establish a modern, legislatively compliant IDP that guides future decision-making and fosters a productive and collaborative intermunicipal relationship.
