Transport Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region, has a
requirement for the supply and delivery of two (2) front mounted
push type ice breaker attachments. The ice breaker attachments
supplied are to be complete with all accessories customarily
furnished and installed on these types of units, to enable the
ice breakers to function reliably and efficiently under all
conditions of service. All items in sections 1.0 through 7.1 of
the attached specification (eight (8) pages attached) are to be
included in the base configuration, unless noted otherwise.
One (1) new ice breaker attachment shall be delivered to the St.
Anthony Airport in St. Anthony, NL and one (1) new ice breaker
attachment shall be delivered to the Wabush Airport in Wabush
NL. Both deliveries are required on or before 01 January 2014.
This requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT); and the North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA).
IMPORTANT NOTE TO BIDDERS:
