Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is inviting
qualified Turnkey Bidders to deliver a new Generic Support
Building at the following Institution:
A GO (generic outside) building at the Donnacona Institution,
1537 Route 138, Donnacona (Quebec), G3M 1C9.
The objective of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to retain
an individual Contractor or Joint Venture to provide the
complete turnkey work for the above mentioned Support Building
for Correctional Services Canada . Utilizing a turnkey service
delivery methodology, a full range of professional consultant
and contractor services will be required during the design,
construction and commissioning phases of the project. The work
consists of but is not limited to the design, construction and
commissioning of one (1) building, including site work and
service connections. The Project requires design and execution
for multiple disciplines carefully coordinated with on-going
Institutional operations.
SITE VISIT
1) It is recommended that the bidder attend the optional site
visit at the designated date and time to examine the scope of
the work required and the existing conditions. The Optional Site
Visit will be held at the following time and location.
Donnacona Institution, Donnacona: on December 17 2012, at 10
AM.
Attendees are to meet at the main entrance of each Institution.
Due to limited space, each turnkey proponent is limited to no
more than 4 persons. Due to security considerations, persons
with criminal records may be denied access to the Institution.
Important notice: in line with clause SC2 - SECURITY ACCESS
REQUIRED, attendees shall submit to local verifications of
identity/information, by Correctional Services Canada, prior to
admittance to the Institution. Therefore, the CPIC form at Annex
F must be completed (Sections A, B, C, D & E), signed and faxed
to the Institution at least 10 days prior to the scheduled Site
