This Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP) is to advise the
industry of Canada's intent to directly contact a minimum of
three (3) local suppliers in the surrounding areas of Parkville
BC to procure the COTS vessel.
This decision was taken after all proposals received in response
to the Request for Proposals (RFP) 39903-150203/A published on
Buy&Sell on November 21, 2014 were found non responsive and no
proposals were received in response to the RFP published on
January 9, 2015, 39903-150203/B.
Suppliers that would like to participate in this exercise or
would like more information must contact the Contracting
Authority, mentioned above, by February 10th, 2015 - 2:00pm EST.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has a requirement to
purchase one (1) COTS 5.49 to 6.55m aluminum boat in accordance
with the Technical Statement of Requirement (TSOR).
Delivery date: All deliverables must be delivered on or before
March 31, 2015.
Delivery location: Parksville, BC - CANADA
This procurement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade,
the North American Free Trade Agreement, the Canada - Chile Free
Trade Agreement, the Canada - Peru Free Trade Agreement and the
Canada - Panama Free Trade Agreement.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
