Description of Work:
The Project Management Office (SIEO/PMO) requires the professional services of an Independent IT Project Review Team Leader, Level 3 to conduct monthly reviews and, as when required, health assessments of major IT projects at DFATD using a defined methodology. The monthly project reviews are performed on key project elements (Scope, Budget, Schedule, Risks, Issues and Communications) to help control project risks to ensure that projects are on-time, on budget and within scope.
The primary reason the Department is contracting out for this service is for the purpose of having an unbiased third party independent reviewer in line with guidance from Treasury Board Secretariat Standard for Project Complexity and Risk.
