Description of Work:
SLAMS (Survivability/Lethality Assessment and Modelling Software) is a Land Platform Vulnerability/Lethality software. Three-dimensional components as well as personnel, generated using standard CAD software, can be assembled in SLAMS to assess the vulnerability of the structure and personnel against defined penetrating threats.
Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) – Valcartier Research Centre requires the services of a Level 2 Programmer/Analyst to perform of a series of modifications to the SLAMS software.
More precisely, the objectives of this contract are:
Substitute the current « voxel » based anatomical model by a 3D CAD model of the human anatomy;
Enable the use of CAD and FEM human anatomical models in SLAMS for V/L analysis; and
Integrate a hemorrhage model into SLAMS that will enables the translation of “wounds” to the risk of hemorrhagic shock.
Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories.
The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource.
