University of Alberta - Notice of Award - Supply of Poultry Feed

University is issuing a standing order for period of April 2026 to March 2027 for supply of Poultry Feed for Poultry Research Unit from the supplier Trouw Nutrition Canada Inc.
Feed formulations from Trouw Nutrition Canada Inc. are proprietary in nature. The department ships fertilized eggs from hens to various campus units and other universities for research purposes. Any change in the diet of the birds can change the research results significantly by adversely affecting the eggs and the embryos. This can have significant implications on the sales of the department. Therefore, keeping the same diets from the same supplier is very essential in the continuing success of the research.
