The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase the 4200 TapeStation System with an
extended warranty plan from Agilent Technologies. The UCalgary Wild Microbiome and
Immunology Centre (WiMIC) requires the system for analyzing nucleic acid sample quality
control (QC) including size, purity, quantity, and integrity for next-generation sequencing (NGS)
and other nucleic acid workflows. The system will be used within a well-established fully
implemented standard operating procedure workflow using an Agilent Technologies 4200
TapeStation System. The same system is required to ensure consistent sample processing
preparation and quality analysis before sequencing samples from multiple biocontainment sites
at UCalgary.
