University of Calgary - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - Aero 2 Integrated Aerospace Lab Experiment

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase the Aero 2 Integrated Aerospace Lab Experiments from Quanser Consulting Inc. The Aero 2 system is a reconfigurable Dual-Rotor Aerospace Experiment for Controls Education and Research. It’s equipped with a collection of high-fidelity sensors, traditional open-architecture software, and reconfigurable dynamic properties, the system is capable of covering almost all undergraduate control systems topics and supporting various research applications. The UCalgary Mechanical Engineering currently is using Quanser’s Aero 2 experimental stations in the lab and requires the additional stations to ensure that all students can perform the same experiments on the same systems.
