University of Calgary - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - Anaerobic Chamber

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) plans to purchase the Coy Type B Anaerobe Chamber from Mandel Scientific. To the research lab’s knowledge, Mandel is the exclusive provider of Coy products in Canada and this Coy system is the only system in the market that has specialized flexible poly vinyl chloride vinyl to allow minimal gas usage while maintaining maximum space to allow for plating instruments inside the chamber.
The lab currently uses a Coy Anaerobic Chamber in which protocols have been established, therefore, it is necessary to purchase the same system to ensure consistency and compatibility.
