The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase BioRadio Systems and the accessories kits from Great Lakes Neurotechnologies. The BioRadio™ is a portable and configurable system for acquiring and transmitting a variety and combination of signals untethered. Easy to set up and operate, the BioRadio can stream data to a computer via Bluetooth, for real-time monitoring, or save signals internally for unattended recording. The UCalgary Biomedical Engineering Department requires the system and kits for teaching purposes. As such, it needs biosignal sensors capable of capturing numerous inputs and providing high sampling resolution for small signals in teaching labs. To UCalgary’s knowledge, the BioRadio System is the only equipment providing 15 biosignals and it is the only kit has a high sampling rate of 16 kHz with 24-bit resolution.
