The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award up to a 3-year service contract with an option to renew for up to 3 years to Salesforce.

Saleforce’s Tableau software is a Business Intelligence (BI) tool that can create dashboards and sharing reports. Tableau is also used as a data discovery tool and provides visualization tools that help organize that data.

It is the University’s understanding, that Salesforce is the sole provider of Tableau licenses and is deeply ingrained within the institution, they are considered the only supplier.
