The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase an Explorer Fiber Laser metal cutter (2000W) from Annex Depot Corporation dba Light Object. It is UCalgary’s understanding that the Explorer Fiber Metal Cutter manufactured by Light Object is currently the only customized unit that features a laser cutter capable of cutting up to 16mm steel and a rotary capable of cutting 2.5" diameter tubing, all within an overall machine space footprint of less than 8 feet by 8 feet.
