University of Calgary - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - Fully Liquid Cooled High Performance Server Workstations

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase 2 Comino Grando RM-M-CRPS rack-mountable, fully liquid-cooled, high performance server workstations with 5-year warranty included. These will be added to an existing Comino Grando RM-M-CRPS server workstation maintained by the Hotchkiss Brain Institute Advanced Microscopy Platform (HBI AMP), a multi-user imaging and data analysis facility. Full integration and compatibility with the existing platform is vital in addition to Comino’s unique external Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU), the use of the same interface and support team for liquid-cooling temperature control of all high-end hardware, is essential to maintain and further enhance performances via Comino Grando’s flexible configurability allowing to mix any GPUs with any CPUs.
