Full description

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase Materials Testing Machine, extensometers, basic set of grips and single machine horizon software package from Tinius Olsen Testing Machine Company. Tinius Olsen machines are designed for use in research departments and quality control departments to measure the strength and product performance of materials. The UCalgary Mechanical Engineering Department currently utilizes Tinius Olsen equipment with the Horizon Testing Software and requires new Materials Testing Machines from Tinius Olsen to ensure compatibility with their existing setup. Continuing with Tinius Olsen product ensures seamless software and hardware integration between the new machines and the existing equipment. This compatibility also allows the Undergraduate labs to use all equipment concurrently without requiring additional or alternative training, as the software remains consistent across all equipment.
