Nexus software is required to support fast and synchronous integration of marker-based (Vero) and markerless (FLIR) motion capture systems, enabling hybrid data collection that merges the precision of traditional reflective markers with the ecological validity of vision-based human pose estimation. This integration is a mandatory requirement for the lab’s planned studies on prosthetic gait, quasi-passive exoskeleton performance, and high-speed athletic motion analysis.
