The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award a service contract to OncoHelix Inc. for NGS-based genomic profiling for solid tumor specimens. OncoHelix provides sequencing as well as clinical signs outputs. The UCalgary Department of Oncology has used the vendor’s service for their research. Continuity of supplier of sequencing and analytical services is critical to the success of their research program. This is to ensure the integrity and comparability of the data with previous analyses. The OncoHelix-2 CGP Assay uses the Illumina TST170 CGP panel. It was clinically validated, with its performance characteristics determined by OncoHelix. Additionally, OncoHelix has a deep understanding of the department’s needs and requirements through its collaboration with UCalgary Hematology Translational Lab (HTL). This partnership enables OncoHelix to work closely with HTL and has developed impactful precision oncology pipelines. It is UCalgary’s intention to establish a three (3) year agreement with renewal options with OncoHelix Inc.
