The University of Calgary Containment Level 3 (CL3) facility plans to purchase the Bioquell L-4 5 litre programmable, portable hydrogen peroxide vapour generating system with insulated hoses that has open and closed loop capabilities. The universities’ Biocontainment programs (CL3 & IMC) currently use Bioquell systems for elimination of microbial contaminants and requires a second portable hydrogen peroxide vapour generating system for decontamination that is safe fast and flexible enough for remote start/stop delivery and monitoring of hydrogen peroxide vapour into specialized equipment including HVAC ducts, HEPA exhaust banks, pass-through chamber, airlock, biosafety cabinets, isolators etc.
The same system must be purchased.
