The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase the MagStim Super Rapid2 system (100Hz) including dual HV power supply unit (PSU), BiStim2, EMG interface module, stimulator cart, therapy chair, associated coils, and extended warranty.
To the research team’s knowledge, this it he only non-evasive transcranial magnetic stimulation system that incorporates a proprietary Energy Recovery System (ERS) ensuring that every single pulse, regardless of frequency or pattern of pulses (repetitive, high frequency or theta burst), will be exactly the same size and will not experience pulse decay or “roll off”.
