The Sakura Tissue-Tek VIP 6 AI Vacuum Infiltration Processor is being pursued as a sole source due to its highly specialized and integrated functionality required for histopathology tissue processing within a veterinary diagnostic laboratory.
This model represents the current platform already in use within the laboratory, and maintaining consistency with this system is critical to ensure continuity of validated workflows, staff competency, and diagnostic quality. The proposed Sakura Tissue-Tek VIP 6 AI Vacuum Infiltration Processor acquisition will integrate directly into this existing environment and support ongoing veterinary diagnostic service at the DSU without disruption.
