The University of Calgary plans to purchase MTS Landmark model 370.50 floor-standing Servohydraulic test system with service contract required for accurate and repeatable static and dynamic material and component testing. The complete system includes the load frame, controller, software, grips and fixtures and extensometers.
The new system must be able to be connected directly, without adaptations, to an existing MTS Testing System SilentFlo™ Model No. 505.90 Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) located in the structural lab through a hydraulic service manifold. This system has the necessary filtration required. The new system must maintain clean hydraulic fluid throughout the operation and be properly filtered in the new unit.
