The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to engage ABclonal Company for Superior Antibody Development. ABclonal provides one-stop, comprehensive custom monoclonal antibody production services using the innovative SMab™ technology, the first antibody discovery platform using single primary B cell ex vivo expansion. The technology employs cell sorting, enrichment, bioinformatics, and advanced cloning to avoid the stability issues associated with the traditional hybridoma approach. The request for data collection of the antibodies from ABclonal is to ensure data consistency for the research project, as the same protocol must be used. Using different vendors could result in compromised data on the antibodies, which might impact the success of this research project.
