The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase Trimble R12i Network Rover Bundle, which includes Trimble R12i Receiver with 410-470 MHz Radio, TSC5 Data Collector, and the Trimble Access Software Perpetual License for Educational Institutions from Trimble’s authorized Canadian distributor, Cansel Canada. The Trimble® R12i GNSS system delivers unmatched GNSS performance and accuracy to boost the productivity of land surveyors like never before. The advanced capabilities of the R12i measure accurately from all angles without being level. The UCalgary Geomatics Engineering Department requires the Trimble R12i GNSS system to ensure compatibility with their existing Trimble receivers and processing software used for undergraduate teaching. The system must integrate seamlessly into their current teaching and research activities. Additionally, continuing with Trimble product ensure all components, including batteries and cables, can be interchangeable with existing equipment to avoid the need to redesign the labs redesigns to accommodate multiple brands.
