University of Calgary - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - Turntables for EMC test applications

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) plans to purchase a precision Turntables from Testforce Systems.

This system is required to replace currently older model of the ETS Lindgren system currently used for research. This system is required to perform IoT and wireless communication device research and development, which requires accurate positioning and orientation to achieve the desired signal strength, antenna pattern, and electromagnetic interference (EMI) characteristics. The research team cannot consider other manufacturer’s systems as the ETS Lindgren system is the only one that will fit in the existing anechoic chamber, and it is necessary to continue using ETS Lindgren technology to ensure consistent and publishable research results.

To the research team’s knowledge, Test force Systems is the sole ETS Lindgren distributor in Canada.
