The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase Vector Extensometers from Tinius Olsen Testing Machine Company. The Tinius Olsen Vector Extensometer can replace multiple contacting and non-contacting sensors with a single, industry specific instrument. Integrating adaptive AI capabilities with optical hardware, Vector Extensometer reduces test throughput times and complexity, automating the process of capturing strain, improving measurement accuracy, data consistency and operator safety. The UCalgary Mechanical Engineering Department currently utilizes Tinius Olsen equipment and the H25-KS + Horizon DAQ software. They require the Vector Extensometer from Tinius Olsen to ensure software compatibility and seamless integration with existing units, allowing data output to match the DAQ system. It’s the department’s understanding the only Tinius Olsen’s Vector Extensometer can meet all the requirements.
